Your iPhone’s value depends on the model, storage capacity, carrier status, condition, functionality, and current market demand. Use our website to get started with a quote, and the final offer is confirmed after we inspect the device in person.
Bring the device you want to sell and a valid photo ID. You should also know your Apple ID or Google account information so any activation locks can be removed before the sale is completed.
After your device is inspected and you accept the final offer, payment is completed in person. There is no obligation to accept an offer if you decide not to sell.
You can sell your iPhone locally at Indycells in Indianapolis. Get a quote online, then bring your device in to complete the sale in person.
Device & IMEI Information
On iPhone, go to Settings → General → About to find your model name, model number, storage capacity, and other device information. On most Android phones, go to Settings → About Phone. If you’re unsure, bring your device to Indycells and we can help identify it.
If your device isn’t listed, contact Indycells or bring it to our Indianapolis location. We may still be interested in buying it and can provide an offer after checking the model and condition.
On an iPhone, go to Settings → General → About and scroll down to IMEI or Serial Number. On many Android phones, go to Settings → About Phone. You can also dial *#06# on many phones to display the IMEI.
Account & Activation Locks
Before selling an iPhone or iPad to Indycells, Find My must be turned off so Activation Lock is removed. On your device, go to Settings → [your name] → Find My → Find My iPhone, then turn it off and enter your Apple Account password if prompted. If you no longer have the device, you can remove it through Find My on iCloud.com. Apple confirms that turning off Find My removes Activation Lock.
Selling Your Device to Indycells
Indycells may buy blacklisted devices, including phones that have been reported lost or stolen, as long as the device legally belongs to the seller and ownership can be verified. We do not purchase devices that belong to someone else, are involved in an ownership dispute, or are being sold without the legal owner’s permission.
No. Indycells only purchases genuine devices. Counterfeit, replica, or fake phones are not accepted.
Your online quote is based on the information you provide. When you bring your device to Indycells, we’ll inspect the model, storage, condition, carrier status, and other details. If anything is different, your final offer may change. You are never required to accept the adjusted offer.
Before selling your device, back up any photos, contacts, messages, or other information you want to keep. We recommend signing out of your Apple or Google account, turning off activation locks, and factory resetting the device before completing the sale.
